She had the most beautiful almond-shaped eyes, but they only glanced at him once.
Her skin was olive and glowing, but his fingers would never touch it.
She came to his signing, but didn't want an autograph.
She dropped her iPod, but he found it.
He'd do anything to return it to her, but she was already gone.
Ariel Reed thought nothing of the teen pop sensation Justin Bieber. On accompanying her friend to his signing, her opinion of him could only be more assured. But when she accidentally drops her iPod before fleeing the celebrity, Ariel is determined to get it back. Will her feelings for Justin change in the process?
“Who are you, Ariel?” He said breathlessly once the song finished. Both Hayley and Ariel’s eyes widened with surprise, and without looking back, Ariel practically ran for the exit doors. There was a sudden silence in Justin’s mind and a heavy blow to his chest. That was pure rejection. But it just made him want her so much more. It was exciting going after someone instead of the other way around. But that was going to be the last time he ever saw her.
Something glittering caught his eye. Below the table was an iPod Touch still connected to earphones. He reached down and picked it up. The sound he heard before was Ariel’s iPod hitting the ground. It was too late to give it to her, since she was in such a hurry to leave. But he wasn’t giving up there. Justin was determined to find her, at whatever cost.
